Commentary from the warped mind of Sig...
Intro., to "The Cracked Bead"
Be forewarned. What you may be reading may insult you, may make you angry, you
might even think I wrote about YOU. Perhaps I did. Perhaps there are more than one of you who inspired the chapters
that are about to follow. Or perhaps its all just made up. Only I will know for sure.
The point of me taking on a writing venture like this, is that I have seen, heard and read so much that make me
want to laugh, cry, shake my head in dismay, rejoice, give me hope in my fellow beaders, make me want to crawl into
a hole and say screw it to the whole bead business, and make me proud to be part of such an artistic friendly
community. I felt it was time I share some of my experiences with you, so that you can see what drives me, what
frustrates me, what gives me joy and ultimately what keeps me going in this crazy business. You may even relate to
my musings if you have been in the business.
Its Yin and Yang. Good and Bad. A rainbow of experiences. In short it represents life. You have to take what it
gives you and learn to deal with it or leave.
I will add more chapters as time goes. No particular set time schedule, but when I can, and when the writing
creative juices flow. It cannot be forced.
If you are easily offended, DON'T read on. As I said, what I write is bound to make you feel all the
assorted emotions as I do. Happy, Sad, hopeless, inspired, angry, tears of joy, shame... I write from my heart, and
won't hold back. You may see some "bad words", you may even have heard of, or experienced some of my stories. Maybe
you might even suspect who I am writing about. I will never tell you who inspired my stories, any names I use are
made up, but if the shoe fits....you may find that you are not the only Cinderella in my writings. It's NOT
all about you, whoever you are.
So, take heed, take caution and read at your own risk. I hope you will enjoy, and learn something about human
nature and perhaps even yourself. And of course, only positive comments are welcome!!! ;)
