Pewter Tapestry Dowels

These dowels are handmade, exclusively for The Beaded Bear. They are constructed of steel rods with pewter ends. The ends are fixed (not removable) so you will need to bead over the dowels. (see completed project for an example). Styles available are:

Dragon Head - fits projects up to 9 inches.
Eagle fits projects to 9.5 inches.
Claw and Bullet fits projects up to 10.25 inches.

Since these are handmade, allow minor variance in length. If you have a concern about the length of your project and the fit of the dowel, please ask. Cover the unused portion with beads or leave as is. An instruction sheet, with ideas and tips will be provided with each dowel.

Wooden tapestry dowels in three lengths and finishes are available. Finishes are black, Red Oak (shown) and Ispswich Pine.
