Make earrings out of individual designs (I would make different birds for each side!) and you can also make a necklace. Let your imagination and creativity take over!

 Camel Profile Pattern

Camels are such interesting animals. They are stubborn and ill tempered. But if I were a beast of burden in the hot desert, I would be too. Yet, camels are loved and prized by their owners and the camels are often decorated in colorful splendor.

Perhaps you could make 3D tassels to add to the panel and as fringe?

A great way to make bracelets is using a metal blank. You won't need to worry about what kind of clasp to use. You also won't need to worry about sizing a bracelet since these cuffs fit just about anyone as they can be adjusted for size just by squeezing them. Plus they look really classy.

Fully diagramed (it is assumed you know how to do flat odd count peyote) instructions for creating a tassel. In addition to odd count peyote, this tassel uses square stitch, netting and a form of a rosette all of which are given in  step by step drawings. A blank graph is provided for you to create your own pattern for the top of the tassel.

A supply list is provided.

Use the tassel for any number of projects. It would make a wonderful necklace, a Christmas decoration, a ceiling fan pull or use your imagination!

 Santa Catarina Palopo style Guatemalan Costume

This pattern is for the full Santa Catarina Palopo style Guatemalan Costume. The Santa Catarina Palopo Mayans live near Lake Atitlan in Guatemala and are noted for their use of vibrant blues.

The Huipil (blouse) and skirt are done as one piece. The belt is done separately and added on to the finished piece.

This piece uses 23 colors of Delicas and 6 colors of size 15 Delicas for the belt. It is 10.1 inches wide x 21 inches long (double sided).

Santa Catarina Palopo style Guatemalan Costume download $25

 Huipil (blouse) Only Pattern

This pattern is for the Huipil (blouse) only pattern. The Huipil is based on the Santa Catarina style of a Guatemalan Huipil.
Vibrant blues with contrasting colors, especially pink are characteristic for this Lake Atitlan area of Guatemala.

This Huipil is 10.1 inches wide by 9.3 inches long (double sided). It uses 16 colors of Delicas. Peyote stitch.
